FOUNDER, JULIE
After 15+ years working in the art world as an advisor and curator, Radiant founder Julie Novakoff has returned to one of her original passions, the craft of tie dye.
Our origin story began when 9 years old Novakoff happened upon a 1970s Harper’s Bazaar magazine in her grandfather’s basement. This edition happened to feature tie dye fashion and the youth of the counterculture movement wearing it. A desire for Color, Culture, and Connection- these were the possibilities of tie dye, Then and Now.
Novakoff learned to appreciate premium, impeccably tailored clothing from her grandfather, who built a prominent textile company started by his father, who immigrated to the United States with limited family and funds. These inspirations and more power us to deliver only the very best product for your ultimate enjoyment.
